Bill McCarron Local Official Inducted 1999
Bill McCarron was involved for twenty years with church softball as a Commissioner, player and coach. Bill was the Metro Tidewater (TVASA) Deputy Church Commissioner from 1989 through 1990. In 1991, he was appointed the TVASA Commissioner and served through 1999. Bill was Vice-President of TVASA for two years and President for three years. He served on the Hall of Fame Committee for two years. Bill organized more than sixty church tournaments. He played and managed softball from 1985 through 1992. His teams won four Metro Championships and five Nazarene Church Nationals. Bill was a valuable asset to the local association, especially with his time and dedication to produce a good church program for out teams. |
