Billy played from 1979 through 1996.  During his career, he played on the better teams such as Ray’s Exxon, Kirk’s Glass, Larry’s Painting, Bethel Baptist and Robo Wash (a Hall of Fame team).  He played shortstop and outfield and batted from leadoff through cleanup.  He maintained a .590 batting average and sixty homeruns per season in the Open Division of play.  He received over twenty MVP awards.  He attended one National tournament and one Regional tournament.  Billy was selected for four All-Tidewater Teams and played the reigning National Champions at Met Park each of those four years.
