Bob West has been an active umpire for 34 years, working the Slow-Pitch game from 1975 - 1998 while working Fast Pitch from 1986 to present.
During his career he worked over 1200 slow pitch games including 4 Regionals, 4 Tidewater Championships and numerous high profile tournaments.
While involved with the Fast Pitch game, Bob has worked in excess of 400 high school games along with over 150 Division 1 college games. He spent 15 years working either or both District and Regional playoff games including 2 State AAA Quarter Finals and 1 State AAA Semi-Final game.
While working twenty years of college games ha has worked in the Atlantic Coast Conference, MEAC, Big South, Colonial, Old Dominion Athletic and Conference USA South while being an active member of the Mid-Atlantic College Softball Umpires Association.
Bob Has been selected to work the NCAA Div. 3 College World Series, 2 men's fast pitch Regionals and 2 fast pitch National Tournaments in Men's and Women's Divisions play.
