Bobby Wills coached at all levels of fast-pitch softball.  He was a pitching coach at Kecoughtan, Booker T. Washington and Princess Anne High Schools and an assistant coach at four other high schools.  These teams went to nine State tournaments.  He coached at Christopher Newport College for seven years and also at Chowan College and Hampton Institute.  His teams were regular season Champions for nine years.  In 1979 and 1993, he was Coach of the Year in the Dixie Conference.  From 2000 through 2004, Bobby coached women’s fast-pitch teams in five National tournaments.  They won one year and placed second in another year.  In 1999, he was the assistant coach for the Virginia Roadsters of the Women’s Professional League.  For the fifteen years prior to his induction, Bobby conducted fast-pitch clinics and camps.  He also played fast-pitch softball for twenty-one years with the Fox Hill Softball Team.
