Carole Johnson

Inducted 1989

A player for more than twenty years, Carole played in five ASA National tournaments and six Regional tournaments.  In 1968, she was a part of the Suburban Pharmacy team that won the National title in Omaha, Nebraska.  As both a strong hitter and great fielder, Carole played on many great local teams such as Bay Skippers, Hick’s Beauty Salon, Bill’s Restaurant, Peltz Brothers and the Virginians.  Carole was named to All-Tournament teams from 1968 through 1979.  As many coaches said, you find a great player and build your team (franchise) around that person.  Carole Johnson was the type of player that you could always depend on and, in the end, know she would come through for the team.
