Jimmy Meadows has been involved in softball in the Tidewater area since 1973 for a total of 38 years.

His playing career has included 5 cities and has encompassed leagues in Men's church, Co-Ed, Industrial and Senior divisions.

He has competed in tournaments in 6 states: South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia and Washington DC.

During his playing time he has accumulated many MVP and All Tournament Team awards.

His coaching experiences have been with Nansemond River Baptist Church, Gilbert & Sons, Edwards Pest Control and Northampton Growers.

Jimmy is a mainstay in the Tidewater Athletic Association for Senior players where he serves as the League Secretary. He also serves as the Central Division League Coordinator for all League affairs.

Jimmy's involvement throughout the years if unmatched and his competitive spirit is an example for all to emulate.
