Inducted 2009
DHF is a team full of tradition and history. The nucleus of DHF Contractors formed from players who played during the last year of Lafayette Grill.
The teams Motto of "A Team that stays together plays well together" is a focus for this team which exhibits great chemistry on and off the field.
Three members of this team have been inducted into the Tidewater Softball Hall of Fame and now the Team's newest members are second generation players. DHF's success can be credited by the dedication and commitment from its players and their families.
The team has competed in 9 Metro Championships, 12
State Tournaments, 7 National Championships and have won several Norfolk City
League Championships in Spring and Fall leagues. They have also competed in four
Tidewater Championships.
