Danny has played softball for thirty five years from 1975 - 2009. He played in over 25000 games including numerous tournaments.
He has been selected MVP 15 times and competed in five city of Norfolk All-Star events. He has competed in 5 Tidewater Championships including the inaugural championship with Ocean View softball. Danny has competed in numerous State and National Tournaments and was selected in an All World Team through the NSA organization.
Danny has been umpiring for 9 years and is considered by many as one of the top ASA softball umpires in Tidewater. He has umpired four National Tournaments. In 2007 he was Tidewater ASA Umpire of the year.
He presently has a batting average above .725 in the Tidewater Senior Softball League and maintains his lifetime average above .600.
