Fox Hill All-Stars

Team

Inducted 1990

Fox Hill All-Stars was the first fast-pitch team to be inducted into our Hall of Fame.  They were the oldest, most continuous sports team of the Peninsula, forming in 1960 and playing through 1977.  They attended nine Metro tournaments (winning all nine), eleven State tournaments (winning eight), nine Regional tournaments (winning two), and four National tournaments (finishing sixth in 1965, thirteenth in 1967 and seventh in 1969 and 1973).  In the four National tournaments, they defeated at least six highly ranked teams.  They played throughout the United States, winning many Invitational tournaments.  In 1964, they went undefeated in winning the Virginia/North Carolina Fast-Pitch League.  Four members of the Fox Hill team have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.  Their overall record was 894 wins, 290 losses and three ties.
