Gary sponsored a team known as the B&G Softball Team since 1975 funded by B&G Used Auto Parts.  As most sponsors indicate, you cannot seriously be doing this for the love of the dollar that you will see in sales, but for the love and deep interest of the sport, its players and families and softball fanatics.  During these eighteen seasons, some in two leagues at the same time, there were twenty tournaments in which the BGs were in at least the top three.
