Herbert Bland started playing softball in 1975 and is still playing today for a total of thirty-two years.
Herbert has played at the Metro, Regional, State and National Tournament levels.
Herbert has been selected All-American fourteen times and All-World fourteen times. He has been named Best Defensive Player three times. Herbert has also received eight MVP awards.
He has accomplished all of this and still maintains a batting average of approximately .725.
