‘Bunny’ was a disciple of the game of softball and the team he represented, Foxhill Allstars.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Foxhill Softball Association for thirty years beginning in the late 1950s.  Bunny’s dedicated service did not stop being an “officer of the Association,” it continued in the “working arena” as well.  His many tireless efforts included selling tickets and greeting the fans and ballplayers as they came to Francis Asbury Park, keeping the grass cut in the park to save the Association its hard-earned dollars, announcing ballgames and serving as official scorekeeper.  Foxhill’s softball fans were Bunny’s fans, as he was well respected in the community for the work he accomplished over the years for the Association.
