Joe started playing in 1990 for Eagle Mart out of South-Hampton County. His talent was immediately recognized as he played for Paramount Builders a nationally ranked "A" team in only his 2nd season. After Paramount he has played for top teams in Tidewater, Hazelwood Plumbing, Coastal Masonry, CAJO and Blackwater.
Joe has competed in over 30 Nationals with at least 12 top 5 finished. Two times selected as All American. Joe has played in 8 Tidewater Championships with 2 titles. Joe can always be found in the middle of the action as he plays SS/MI/2B and pitches. He has a career batting average of .675. Joe has been selected over 20 times for All Tournament and MVP honors. He has competed in over 30 State Championships with 10 State titles. Joe has won 20 City Championships in Newport News, Hampton, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.
