Judy Sodervick Player

Judy Sodervick played slow-pitch and co-ed softball from 1970 through 1995. In those twenty-six years, she had many sports related operations and those surgeries did not stop her from returning to the playing field. She played in five Metro tournaments, five Regional tournaments, one Area tournament, and three National tournaments. In 1990, she was named All-American in the Class B National tournament. Judy earned six MVP awards and was named TVASA All-Star three times. Her batting average was around .500 with a career sixty-seven homeruns. In 1991, she was named the Beacon Player of the Year. Judy was very talented and a manager’s dream. She knew the fundamentals of softball and used them to play the game. |
