Kim Bowman began her softball career in 1975 and played for twenty-four years until she retired in 1998.  She played with the best teams during that time.  Those were The Travelers, Bay Skippers, Wipeouts, Thirty Something, Superior and Keith.  Three of those are in our Hall of Fame.  Kim played both slow-pitch and co-ed excelling in both. She played in fourteen Metro tournaments, fourteen Regional tournaments two Area tournaments and eleven National tournaments.  In 1990, she made All-American at the Women’s Class B National Tournament with Thirty Something and again in 1992 at the Co-Ed National Tournament with the Superior team.  Kim was All-Metro four times.  She earned four MVP awards.  She had a lifetime batting average near .450.  In addition, she was an outstanding defensive player.
