Nolan Fine

Nolan Fine umpired softball from 1974 through 1983 and again in 1994 and 1995 for a total of twelve years.  He worked in ten Metro tournaments, ten Central Atlantic Regional tournaments and three National tournaments.  During that time, he umpired every night in league play and on weekends in local tournaments mostly for five dollars a game.  In addition to his fieldwork, Nolan was an asset to the Umpires’ Association.  He served three years on their Executive Board and attended eight Regional clinics.  At the time of his induction, Nolan was employed as a National Basketball Association Official.
