The Ocean View Softball Team started playing in the Norfolk City leagues in 1976 and played until 1999.
The team played in approximately 200 tournaments and won thirty of them. They also won the Norfolk Fall League Championship four times. Ocean View Softball competed in twelve Metro tournaments, ten State tournaments and five National tournaments.
The Ocean View Softball team was very proud of the fact that they were a self-sponsored team for the twenty-three years they were in existence.
