Charles ‘Charlie’ Dryden

Charlie Dryden was a manager for twelve years from 1983 through 1994. He started with a Class D team and moved up through the classifications to the Major level of play in 1990. His teams had an overall record of 945 wins with 428 losses for a percentage of .664. His teams went to six Metro tournaments, four Regional tournaments, one State tournament and eighteen National tournaments. In 1991, he was the All-World manager. In 1992, his team was ranked eighth in the nation. Locally, Charlie’s teams won seven City Championships in three different cities. He was Manager of the Year four times and All-Tournament Manager nine times. In addition, Charlie also sponsored his own team (Charles Dryden & Son) for twelve years. |
