Paulette Spruill

Paulette Spruill started playing softball at the age of ten in the Norfolk County League and continued to play for thirty years. In the little leagues, she made All-Star several times. In the Portsmouth and Churchland Women’s League, her teams were champions seven years. She played on three State Championship teams receiving the MVP award once. Paulette played in five National tournaments in Sheboygan and Beloit, Wisconsin, Detroit, Michigan, Rockford, Illinois, and Kinston, North Carolina. Paulette retired after coaching fast-pitch softball at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy for four years. |
