Eddie Walsh started playing slow-pitch softball in 1957 and continued through 1973 for a total of seventeen years.  Eddie played in four Men’s Major National tournaments and seven State Championship tournaments with two MVP awards.  He also received six MVP awards in local tournaments.  He batted over .500 and was known as a topnotch defensive infielder.  He was a true team player having never missed a game over a ten-year period.
