Pat played softball for seventeen years from 1968 through 1984,. Her first year, she was a youth team, the Plaza Pacers. The next year, she joined Bill’s Restaurant and played third-base for them when they attended the Women’s Major National Tournament in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The next fifteen years, she played outfield for the Hall of Fame Travelers. Both teams were perennial powerhouses. She played in six National tournaments, four Regional tournaments, and seven Metro tournaments. In addition, Pat played on three Co-Ed Championship teams. Pat made numerous All-Star teams and won two MVP awards. |
