Sergio has over 20 years of experience umpiring Softball including 5years of National Federation (high school) girl's fast pitch, 9 years of college fast-pitch and 1 year of Professional Softball.
He has umpired 5 ASA National Championships, 5 ASA Regional Tournaments and 15 ASA State/Metro Tournaments. He has also served as Umpire-in-Chief at an ASA National Championship.
Sergio has worked NCAA and NJCAA conference play in the Atlantic Coast Conference, South Atlantic Conference, MEAC and Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference.
Ha has umpired Virginia High School AAA District and Regional Championships from 2005 until present. Selected in 2009 to umpire Professional Fast Pitch Leagues.
He has served as the Peninsula Softball Umpires Assoc. Umpire-In-Chief for 3 seasons, Training Committee Chairperson and Evaluation Committee Chairperson for 3 seasons.
Inducted to National Indicator Fraternity in 2009.
