Sherman Anthony started playing softball in 1978 abd continues to play to the present time for a total of 30 years. He has been a member of some of the better teams in the Tidewater area such as the Bobcats, Pirates' Cove and ILA Cubs.
He has played in 14 Metros, 14 Regionals and 28 National in Class A, B and C. Sherman has received 12 MVP awards and has been on many all tournament teams. For his softball career, Sherman has maintained a .600 batting average.
