Shirley Pritchard

Player

Inducted 1985

Shirley began playing fast-pitch softball in 1955 with the Snow Whites (the ranking women’s team of the day).  While with Snow Whites, she helped then win two State championships.  After this, she turned her talents to slow-pitch and was a member of the first mixed (co-ed) ASA tournament champions.  Three of Shirley’s Regional tournaments furnished a win and two second-place finishes.  She participated in seven National tournaments and, in her thirty years, has won many Most Valuable Player and Most Outstanding Player awards.  At the time of her induction, she continued to play.
