Sue Started playing softball at the age of 15. When she turned 16 and was legal to play in Adult leagues and she was asked by Larry Riggs to play for Hicks Beauty Salon. She started immediately as a left fielder and continued playing over the next 22 years for Bill's Restaurant, Peltz Brothers and the Virginians.

She has competed in 6 Regionals and 6 ASA National Tournaments. She was selected as an All American at the ASA National's while playing for the Virginians.

On another occasion she was a "pick up" player and selected as All World while playing for the "Travelers".

Sue has always enjoyed the competition and played the game with total passion. She has been selected 26 times as the Most Valuable Player throughout her career.
