Tommy Zehmer was selected for induction into the Hall of Fame as a Commissioner.  Tommy was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner for the Peninsula area in 1977 and served fourteen years.  During that time, he hosted four Metro, two Central Atlantic Regional, and over seventy-five local tournaments including the Peninsula Invitational that hosted the top teams in the country.  He started the Men’s Class C National Commonwealth Tournament that hosted over one hundred teams each year.  This tournament was a great success and was played for over five years.  In addition, Tommy served on the Commissioners’ Council for fourteen years.
