Trey Harris began playing softball in 1982.  In his sixteen years of play, he was recognized as the most dominant outfielder on the Peninsula.  In the 2,500 games that he played, Trey received at least twenty MVP awards and was named to the All-Tournament team five times.  He had a strong accurate arm, speed, and could hit with power.  He had a lifetime batting average over .600.  Trey played in six Metro tournaments, nine Regional tournaments, six State tournaments and two National tournaments.  In addition, he made the Williamsburg All-Star Team sixteen consecutive years.
