Zero’s Subs was financed by Marty Polacios and was one of the most constant sponsors.  He sponsored one or more teams each year from 1985 through 1997 which included men, women, co-ed and youth.  Zero’s played in approximately fifteen tournaments a year for a total of nearly two hundred tournaments in those thirteen years.  They played in five Metro tournaments, six Regional tournaments, two National tournaments and in two TVASA Tidewater Championships.  In 1991, Zero’s Subs was recognized as the Sponsor of the Year.  It is hard to have the same sponsor for more than five years.  Zero’s Subs did it for thirteen years.
